Mixes Seafood Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

3 cups fresh bread cubes (3 medium slices bread)
2 cups mixed seafood or 2 cans (7 oz) tuna, shrimp or crab
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
½ cup mayonnaise
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 can (10 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese paprika


Procedures:

  1. In 12x8x2-inches-dish place cubes. Heat for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until crisp. Remove about half of cubes and save for top layer.
  2. In large mixing bowl mix together seafood, onion, celery and mayonnaise. Spread over bread cubes in dish. Cover seafood mixture with remaining half of bread cubes.
  3. In small bowl beat eggs well and mix in milk soup. Pour over casserole. Cook for 28 to 32 minutes until set but still slightly soft in center.
  4. Sprinkle top with cheese, then paprika. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestion:
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
