Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1 package (1 oz)
spaghetti sauce mix 1 can (16 oz) tomato sauce.
1 can (4 oz.) mushroom
stems and pieces, drained
1 package (8 oz) lasagna
noodles, cooked 1 carton (12 oz) creamed cottage cheese 1 package (6
oz) sliced Mozzarella cheese ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Procedures:
- Crumble ground beef in 2 quart (12x7) glass baking dish; cover.
- Microwave on High for 5 minutes. Drain and stir in salt, spaghetti sauce mix, tomato sauce and mushrooms; mix well. Assemble in 2 quart (12x7) glass baking dish by layers: 1/3 cooked noodles, 1/3 meat mixture, ½ cottage cheese and ½ Mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers. On third layer of noodles, spread last 1/3 of meat mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese cover.
- Microwave on Defrost for 20 to 25 minutes or until hot in center. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.

Makes 6 to 8 servings
Cook's Tip: Recipe
can be assembled in two 2 quart baking dishes. For these sizes it is
easier to assemble in 2 layers and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top of
Mozzarella. You can freeze one dish for use at a later time. When
ready to serve just Microwave on Defrost, covered with wax paper for
20 to 25 minutes or until hot.
